Terms of Use

1. SCOPE OF WORK & ESTIMATES

LightUp Services ("the Company") provides professional installation of permanent lighting systems. All work is performed based on the signed Estimate/Work Order. Any changes or "add-ons" requested on-site will require a written Change Order and may result in additional fees.

2. SITE ACCESS & PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS

  • Access: The Customer must provide clear access to the property, including driveways, gated areas, and exterior electrical outlets.
  • Pre-existing Damage: LightUp Services is not responsible for repairing pre-existing structural issues, rotting fascia/trim, or faulty electrical panels discovered during installation.
  • Electrical Requirements: The Customer is responsible for ensuring the property’s electrical system meets the load requirements for the lighting system. If a licensed electrician is required to upgrade a circuit, this is the Customer's sole expense.

3. INSTALLATION WARRANTY & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Warranty: We provide a [5-Year] limited warranty on our installation workmanship. This covers loose tracks or wiring issues resulting directly from our installation process.
  • Product Warranty: Hardware (LEDs, Controllers, Power Supplies) is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (e.g., Strata Lighting). LightUp Services will facilitate the replacement of defective parts within the first [Number] days; however, after that period, labor fees for "truck rolls" may apply for hardware swaps.
  • Exclusions: Our warranty does NOT cover damage caused by:
    • Acts of God (lightning, hail, extreme storms).
    • Animal damage (squirrels/rodents chewing wires).
    • Vandalism or unauthorized third-party modifications to the system.
  • Total Liability: Our total liability for any claim is strictly limited to the total amount paid for the specific installation service. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages to the property.

4. COMMUNICATION & SMS CONSENT (A2P COMPLIANCE)

By booking a service or requesting a quote, you provide express written consent to receive SMS messages regarding scheduling, arrival windows, and service updates.

  • Privacy: We do not share your mobile data with third parties for marketing purposes.
